Siobhan Carmean is not another blonde transplant singer-songwriter trying to make it in Hollywood. She was was born and raised in Laurel Canyon, California into a highly creative family. She is the daughter of Harry Carmean, a painter and artist. Her Mother Marne Carmean is a Poet and Writer. Siobhan was schooled by her Laurel Canyon neighbors The Turtles and Carole King, whose daughter Sherry often sang with Siobhan in neighborhood bands.Siobhan met sax player Lon Price (Billy Vera and the Beaters) several years back and they began collaborating and developed the sound you are hearing on this CD. Julie Chadwick has lent her singing talents. You will also hear the very soulful guitarist Rick Hirsch throughout the CD. Guitarist Billy Watts lent his talent on"Silver Liner."  You will also hear Jerry Petersen's great string arranging.I'm sure you will agree that this record is an eclectic mix of songs and sound that has been many years in the making.
