Thalaivaa (English: Leader) is a 2013 Tamil action thriller film directed and written by A. L. Vijay. The film features Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead roles, Abhimanyu Singh as the main antagonist, as well as Sathyaraj, Santhanam, Ponvannan, Rajiv Pillai and Ragini Nandwani in supporting roles.[2] The film, produced by Chandraprakash Jain, features background score and soundtrack composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar with cinematography handled by Nirav Shah. The film was released worldwide on 9 August 2013, except in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, where the film's release was delayed until released on 20 August 2013 due to controversies.The movie received mixed to positive reviews.This movie was dubbed in Malayalam and Hindi as the same title but in Telugu as Anna.
