This album completes my cycle around the seasons (Sweet Mimosa: Summer; Indian Summer: Fall; Deep December Dreams: Winter and now Spring: The Wind's Story). I had thought my spring effort might be more hopeful but I found myself telling the story of a spring that comes with some wrath: stronger winds, fiercer rains, and which promises nothing. Despite that, the prayer of St. Clare captured my attention: Love without fear. May it be so.A second theme is that of leaving and returning. Knowing when to leave and when to return and the importance of remembering resonates with me.And finally, the wind is a major character in my songs. Eleven out of the seventeen songs make some mention of the wind including They're All Calling Out my Name: The Wind's Story which provided the title for the album. I love all the little breezes and chilly winds that are part of my world and imagination.
