The song was born on a Texas summer evening. Ingram was set to play on the patio of a popular restaurant in Fort Worth. There had been a 30 or so day string of the temperature reaching over 100 degrees. The area was weather beaten for sure. When showtime came on this particular sun-soaked patio, there was not a soul to be found ready to sit outside and listen to a show. Instead of performing to no one, Ingram sat down and penned the words to this song. He then posted a picture to his Facebook page to share the new lyrics with the world.That was 5 years ago.
