When I first discovered my gift of poetry, I wasn't sure where it would lead me; in fact, I didn't even think I would have taken it this far. Poetry went from being a hobby to a passion for me. I love writing poetry because it allows me to express my feelings and thoughts as I please and somewhere in between is a breakthrough. What some people don't realize is that each time I stand in front of an audience and recite a poem, I am putting myself out there not only to be recognized and known but as a living testimony from what I have overcome. I believe God allows certain things to take place in our lives not only to make us stronger but to build us a greater testimony and because I am one who has most definitely faced a lot of obstacles in my past, I can most certainly say that I have one of the greatest testimony's in the world. There are so many people just like me who has gone through so much pain and hurt and all they are looking for is a breakthrough. My main goal for creating the album,"BROKEN," is to speak victory over every obstacle that has tried to destroy and hinder your dreams. God anoints everyone with a way to deliver his word and me as being one of his chosen has led me to minister his word through my poetry. It took a lot of hurt and pain to get to where I am today but if I had to do it all again, I wouldn't be afraid because I know that I have Jesus by my side. My mission in Christ is to pull unsaved souls; through Christ, they shall be saved, set free and delivered. With this album, I pray that it motivates you to seek salvation and change in your life.
