Throne Of Serpents mutated into form in 2004--started by Michael Anthony Putignano. After an extensive search to find the right musicians--a search that proved to be fruitless--Michael decided to go it alone and played all the instruments himself. He also did vocals. Enlisting the help of guitar shredder Dr Frankenshred who recorded all the solos--the vision was complete. Recorded in The Dungeon in Plainfield,IL, Michael acted as producer andengineer on the project and mixed it as well. Tall Catproductions in Phoenix, AZ is where the solos were laid down overseen by engineer HB. Combining the essence of power,melody,harmony,and brutality is what makes the new CD unique in the metal realm--as well as the thought provoking lyrics which touch on subjects from religion to life after death, the complexity of the human mind as well as Poe's Masque of the Red Death inspired Breath of Pestilence.
