Jon Campos-vocals/guitar Drew Gino Zollo-bass James Raub- percussion/drums Jon Campos & The Incurables started off in a rather unusual fashion. Jon had left his hard rock band in mid 2015 to pursuit an acoustic solo career as a singer songwriter. As luck would have it some of San Diego finest musicians were reaching out to see if he needed their services. While Jon was recording his EP in late October 2015, he did indeed decided it would be ideal to have some percussion on the tracks. He rang up an old friend and former band mate, James Raub, to fulfill the task. He was the only option on Jon's radar. They guy is nothing but money behind the kit! James obliged to Jon's request and hit the studio shortly thereafter. As the holidays were approaching in late 2015, a venue Jon was regularly playing put in a call to his management looking for a last minute replacement band for New Years Eve. As there were only 3 weeks left in the year, any band worthy of a New Years Eve gig was booked or taking the night off. To this point Jon had been playing out solo only. His manager tasked Jon with throwing a band together to perform for the venue. Jon did not hesitate. He rang up James - he was all in. One more puzzle piece to fulfill would be a bassist. Enter Drew Gino Zollo, bassist extraordinaire. Drew brings a lot t to the party to say the very least. He was signed to EMI. He toured the world with various acts and thankfully, he was safely nestled in San Diego, and better yet - available! They headed to a rehearsal room three or four times, rocked the house on New Years Eve, had a total blast and have never looked back. Their upcoming self titled EP is to be released Summer 2016. The Grammy awarding winning Marc DeSisto, (U2, Don Henley, Aretha Franklin, Dwight Yoakum, Pink Floyd etc) his credits are way too long to list here, mastered the tracks, and is looking forward to the release as much as the boys are.
