Boomslang is a San Francisco Bay Area quartet that forming in 2015. The band was inspired by 60's and 70's soul jazz greats like Grant Green, Larry Young, Jimmy Smith and John Scofield among many others. Their first EP, recorded in November 2015, is a collection of four new original songs and a cover made famous by Grant Green.The band consists of Isaac Fischer on bass, Peter Imbres on guitar, Michael Martinez on keys and John Swick on drums.
