Some of my earliest compositions are to find on this cd, like the bagpipe and organ pieces I tailored to a friend's wedding in 1977. I play the bagpipe there. Some recordings have the patine of time. Oi meni, meni, with my folk band"Den Deuk"; with this Croatian song I sing and play the accordeon.Wannes Van De Velde sings in Antwerp city language, the only one in the world having that"I"-sound like in English(as far as I know). Wannes sings about cities and about people of different cultures, living together peacefully. He ordered me to put music to his lyrics. I play the flute, together with musicians of the Flemish Philharmonic and Khader Zahnoun plays lute.There's Seba, in 7/8, one I like myself. Luc Meyers plays the guitar with Sirkroof.Uin-Ouq suggests music of the ancient Egyptians.I only had an alto saxophone for the first two days in my life. It couldn't stop me from making this primitive recording of a piece I made for a short film. It had been recorded with a tape recorder and a cassette deck, so I played piano, brushed drum and alto all by myself.Candle Light, part of Puzzelstukken II, is music in my own style I developed, showing unintended resemblence with postmodern music.I hope you will enjoy listening this CD, which at least is interesting for documenting, isn't it? thanks!Joseph
