'The Juice' might have a simple and almost silly sounding title but it conjures itself from a deep and serious nature that Barbacoa brings to the table on their latest effort. Simplifying things a bit from their last album (which was a whopping 15 tracks) this album is a classic ten song release. Those ten songs work pretty damn hard though. From the opening track"Scoundrel" in which Evanchuck paints a strong yet quick portrait of what it is to be a submarine sailor to the first full track of 'Sorry I missed your call" to the epic ending track"Song that changed the World" Barbacoa is unrelenting in it's quest to both rock your face off and make you think. Lyrically and musically this album is the best thing these guys have produced yet. I wouldn't be surprised if you heard more good things to come from Barbacoa.
