As the original lead singer of The Click Five (2004-2007), Eric left the group to pursue the creation of his own music just after filming the movie"Taking 5". In early 2007 he wrote"No Surprise" which later became the first single on Daughtry's sophomore album"Leave This Town". His first collection of 4 songs (first of 3 to be released in 2012) was recorded at Barefoot Studios in Los Angeles, CA. With Producer Matt Radosevich and Mastering by Eric Valentine, a sound was created to capture what others have done well, while adding the distinct flavor of Eric's delivery and style. Major influences include: U2, Nine Inch Nails, Savage Garden, Our Lady Peace and 30 Seconds to Mars.
