Hi! My name is Ria Lina and I am a stand up comedian and musician. Sometimes I like to combine the two and write jokes that rhyme AND harmonise. Cheeky things. This Christmas album has been written one or two songs at a time over a couple of years. As a mother I find Christmas a hard time of year; ensuring that it is magical for the children is a lot more work than many people realise. Worth it of course, but not without it's stress. So as a release I turned to songwriting and the result is A Mother's Lament. I hope you find it funny and poignant in equal measure.
