Star Mice is Zowie Demmon's new Retro Electronica music project. Zowie has rocked the SRQ, Florida underground in the indie rock band The Freejacks from 2010 to the end of 2011. He has also rocked the SRQ, Florida underground in the anti-pop almost celtic sounding band called The Cult of Fiction from 2001 to 2002. The Cult of Fiction also performed in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Liquid Room and Morning Star 76 Cafe in 2002. Zowie was working on a Lord of the Rings type story book style of music from 2003 to 2007 which is called The Marrionnettes. The Marrionnettes CDs have not been officially released but he may release them someday. The albums are to be performed on lute guitar behind a Puppet Show portraying the story told in song. Zowie was in the indie punk band Foursquare in 2007 but they never performed. Zowie Demmon has performed solo acoustically on guitar at a steady gig in SRQ, Florida at Cafe Kaldi and got his start performing solo on electric guitar with a programmed dance beatbox to back him up at the legendary underground clubs called The Brownestone and The Light Painter Gallery back in 1998 to the year 2000. Zowie is back to rock the underground again with his new Retro Electronica project called Star Mice as he always has.
