Four girls make up indie rock band LADS. They are based in New York City and formed in August of 2014. Members include vocalist/songwriter Alexa Brightside, bassist Kirsten Kearns, drummer Matty Cline, and Mia Schmidt on guitar. Musical inspirations root from the classics (Oasis, The Beatles) and today's festival headliners (Arctic Monkeys, The Vaccines). In the spirit of the ironic band name, LADS is all for straightforward hard work without taking yourself too seriously.
