.. One High Cat is an international musical revolution. Conceived in the year 2005 by a chance meeting in Winter Park, Florida, OHC was founded by Mario, Mikey, and Red. Through the music of Lee"Scratch" Perry, Bob Marley, King Tubby and other reggae all-stars, they discovered a mutual love for good tunes and good vibes. While in school, Mario and Red met 88 Keys, and in 2006, with a vision of revolution through music, One High Cat was born. Just before the year 2007 came around, Mario and Mikey met Chip and Preston, two fellow classmates from North Carolina bringing a different vibe to the music of One High Cat. This proved to be an essential meeting of souls considering the fact that Red and 88 Keys had now moved out of Winter Park. Those two High Cats can still be heard on the track called Reviens, and the remaining tracks were recorded with the new Carolina Cats. Although some members of the band have traveled their own paths in search of happiness and freedom, everyone is and always will be part of the One High Cat family. Now armed with a full-length recording, $1/Song & Money's Free, One High Cat is ready to heal the world with their medicinal melodies. One High Cat is currently working on their second album despite being geographically seperated. The results should be interesting but not disappointing! ;)
