For album number 5 the band changed it all around, dropping all the extra musicians and dialing the music down to vocals, drums, bass, and guitar with some occasional keyboard. The result is a set of original songs, played in a fairly straightforward rock style but with a twist, some math-rock, heavy rock singing in the vein of David Coverdale, wailing guitar, pulsing bass and top notch drumming. Melody is important and embraced throughout while the instrumental breaks are well managed so that the songs are strong and develop well.
