J520 grew up in SOCAL. Growing up was difficult due to the absence of a father figure. His mother was determined to provide a stable home for her 5 children. At an early age, James(J520) showed talent in Singing with Church and School Choirs. In the Early 80s he became a B-Boy and Fell in Love with Hip hop, as a Culture/Lifestyle. As time past, J520 found himself getting involved with friends in the Street life. Once, again his Mother would not Neglect her lessons of Faith, Hope, and Love. The Life Experience of Struggle proved to be Beneficial and Essential to Creating his Style of Music.J520 does not just Talk the Talk.
