Tomydeepestego (to be read to my deepest ego) is an instrumental post metal band, based in Rome (Italy).3 years have passed since the release of Chronophage (our second album). 3 years in which we spent most of the time writing new songs and recording pre-production demos. At the same time, TMDE became a five piece band, with the addition of Nicolò (synth).In November 2011 we once again entered the Hombrelobo studio in Rome (Italy) to re-record those songs in a proper way, with our irreplaceable sound engineer/friend/psychiatrist Valerio Fisik. The process was long, 2012 started and we still had nothing tangible in our hands.The one sure and definite thing was the name of the album, NERO, which means"black" in Italian. We liked it. A lot.Mastering was handled by Riccardo"Paso" Pasini at Studio 73 in Ravenna (Italy) and in July 2012 the album was finally finished.We parted ways with our label Subsound Records and it's hard to explain, in simple words, how gratefulwe are towards the guys at Subsound. Especially Davide"The Boss" Cantone, for believing in us from thevery beginning and for releasing our first two albums. Thank you.So yes, NERO will be released and distributed all by ourselves.Hope you like it.
