Days Of Poetry is a suitcase of songs that I have carried around with me for over thirty years. Each one has a back-story that could be a novel or a film but these few words, this poetry, will have to do for now. Wrapped inside all of them is my enduring admiration for the music, movies, literature and inspiration of the 60’s and early 70’s ~ the Flower Parade. That is where I am coming from and who knows, maybe where I am going as well. I offer a big and heartfelt bow to all of the musicians who performed on these recordings, the artists who collaborated on the album photos and design and to my family for their rousing chorus on the title song and their unflagging support.
