Jordan Everist is a young artist from the town of Portland, Oregon. He found his beginnings trying to make hip hop and rap beats when he was in high school. As he progressed, he began to expand his horizons to dubstep/electronica, classical, indie music, and jazz. Besides music, Jordan Everist has been indulging his creativity by writing short stories, songs, and screenplays. Going along with those screenplays is a series of short films he has also directed and acted in. The soundtracks to these films have of course been compiled by Jordan.2014 has been a big year for Jordan, as he worked hard to build his fanbase and hone his skills to produce the entertainment of the highest quality. He has released two official projects this year,"Music, Por L'Amour", and"I missed you". Both of these projects have been very well received by the public and helped spur Jordan on to work even harder, creating a blog and multiple web series. This album is a collection of songs from the two projects, with a few never before heard songs as well. The genre's included in this project are Indie, electronic/experimental, and Hip Hop influenced. The spirit of"Last Summer" follows that of"Music, Por L'amour", in that it is all music, simply made for the love of music and creating. Jordan appreciates your time and hopes that you enjoy this project, and look out for more materials by following his SoundCloud (1), becoming a fan on Facebook (2), and subscribing on YouTube (3).
