When I began this project, I didn't have a"vision" of what the end result might be. It sort of evolved into a work of duets... with some of my favorite St. Louis artists. Sometimes I didn't know whom I would ask to play on what until I heard it played back in the studio, then I'd think,"So and so would sound great on this one!" And luckily for me, when I asked, each one said yes.So... thank you to all the players... John, Sandy, Margaret, Dave, and Thayne... Your music and friendships are truly gifts in my life. Especially to John... not only are you a great friend, but you give me songs to sing, record my music and fix my guitars... Is there anything you can't do?... and Linda... for the song and the photos and the light you bring to the world... and Jean... for your time and talent... and your oh-so-peaceful ways. Special thanks to my dad, Paul Casey, and Oliver Sain who had their special ways of bringing music into my life. Super-special thanks to God... for blessing me with wonderful family and friends... Each having a hand in getting me to this place... please know that I love you.
