"Form G-Zeus" is the twentieth anniversary reunion album for the Rope Goat Clan (RGC)—a forgotten rap supergroup featuring the voices of the Pope (aka MC Pope-on-a-Rope), the Hobe (aka DJ Hobo), the Word (aka DJ MastaPoopa), and the Nage (aka Clanager).The seven tracks on"Form G-Zeus" feature live (but looped) sounds of RGC playing live instruments, mixed with drum machines, synths, and FX."G-Zeus" is a fearsome fighting combiner robot that Pope, Hobe, Word, and Nage form when the universe needs defending.Our story: The Clan has assembled at the Squirrel's Nest Command Center (SNCC), a futuristic spaceport where all the component vehicles of the fighting robot G-Zeus are launched. The members of the team are seen"toking off golden bongs" as they methodically prepare the checklist for coalescence. Clan flips switches, uses biometric sensors to open locked chambers, programs computers with precise parameters, and dons hermetically sealed pilot suits. The SNCC has an active horizontal runway catapult, an underground burrow tunnel, and a large bioilluminated submarine dock. The top of the building houses the Nage Head Vessel (NHV), which uses plasma rockets to launch vertically.Each member of the team enters his respective vehicle and attains terminal speed before lifting into the stratosphere where the robot is formed.As G-Zeus flies down we see it is missing a left leg…but this is because it is enroute to a massive King farm hidden high in the mountains, where it docks with a giant redwood-sized King bud.In a house of worship with a massive external amphitheater, gospel choirs sings toward the heavens in a trance about the coming of G-Zeus. Worshippers tremble as the low, rumbling sound of heavy footsteps grows louder: The mighty G-Zeus approaches.
