Based out of New England, Boston area Gretchen and the Pickpockets is ready to make a big statement. The band began in April of 2011 at the University of New Hampshire and has played various venues throughout the region. The band has an alternative rock sound with a mix of jazz and blues thrown in. Gretchen and the Pickpockets released their first EP in 2012 and this is their first full length, self-titled album. The band is comprised of vocalist Gretchen Klempa, Michael Klempa, Ryan O'Connell, Richie Smith, and James McGinness. Each song provides an intimate story and the band shows that different genres can be fused together to result in genuine and personal music.
