Jade Alger began his journey in music at the age of 7 playing cello. At university he made a name for himself through song-writing and became known for abilities to marry avant-garde wordplay with lilting melodies and intricate finger-style guitar work. His first studio album, 'Unfolding the Muse', includes classics like 'Ferris Wheel Tree' and 'Juggernaut of Super-Shooting Beam' as well as new material to include an instrumental, 'March to Grace' and the playfully eccentric track, 'Shoes'. In May of 2016 he released the single 'Aurora Sky' which was born out of inspiration that came in between recording and mixing sessions for 'Unfolding the Muse'. Jade's music proves difficult to catalogue due to it's singular, unparalleled style. His songs paint a picture as he creates a certain musical labyrinth and attempts to lure the listener in. Placing high importance on the listener's interpretation, Jade likes his music to retain a certain mystery and rarely publishes the intended meanings of songs. In this way, people are able to engage with the music on a more personal level.
