While Stella Sleeps is an alternative rock band originally formed in 2009 in Amherst, Massachusetts. After a 2 year hiatus and lineup change, Stella is as explosive as ever. The trio melds their sound around the pop-punk, hardcore, and post rock elements of influences such as Brand New, Underoath, Taking Back Sunday, and Mogwai. Taking shape around Danny Schrader's energized, dynamic lead guitar and Luke DeRoy's soaring melodic vocals, the newest of the members, drummer Greg Williams ferociously completes the sound.
