Jay Roberts is mainly an acoustic rocker though he is more than capable of bringing the electric kettle to a rolling boil when he wants to. With heartfelt, meaningful lyrics and memorable hooks and phrases, Jay's songs often find themselves lodged firmly in the listener's brain immediately. Jay writes from a desire to express true thoughts and emotions and willfully avoids creating songs out of simple"cleverness" for the sake itself.
