This album was recorded on an iPad as a Sign of the iTimes! Some of the songs lyrics date back to the early 90's when Freedom lived in a garage in Santa Monica, CA and wrote poetry as he sipped on bottomless cups of coffee at Denny's until the wee hours of the morning. Another song,"Its Hard", came to him in a dream with all the chords, lyrics and melody already composed. Ironically, this happened the same week that Prince died. When Freedom failed at singing the melody because the note were too high, his daughter, Grace Lynn offered to help out! A couple of the tunes (Beat It and Raspberry Beret) are nods to 2 of his favorite musicians of all time, MJ and Prince. There are some weird and eclectic sounds on this record. Even Freedom's closest friends have asked if he was"serious" about this music? His response..."I don't know".
