I am a professor of chemistry and have been on the faculty at the University of California, San Diego, for more than 20 years. Although not a professional musician, I have been playing guitar for more than 35 years and am very passionate about music. I particularly enjoy electronic, software-based compositions. Wrecked Synths is my sixth DIY project, which includes experiments with soft synths, ornamented, as always, with organic guitars. All tracks were composed, recorded and produced at home in San Diego, California, between 2013 and 2016.
