Federal Dog is an American rock band founded by lead singer/songwriter Jhon Doria. Raised on classic rock, Jhon believes in strong vocal melodies and memorable riffs. Lyrically, Jhon's songwriting is all about taking the listener on a story-driven journey. Usually those stories are darker, intense character studies; the outlaws, the flawed, the searchers. The inhabitants of Federal Dog's music are either on the lam or on the hunt, seeking meaning or refuge, out to have a good time, or out to exact revenge...The FEDERAL DOG EP features Jhon on lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Brad Smith (Blind Melon) on bass & backing vocals, Kevin Haaland (formerly of Skillet) on lead guitar, and Dave Krusen (original Pearl Jam drummer) on drums. It was produced by Brad Smith, except for 'Run', which was produced by Kevin Haaland.
