Italo (Tal) Naccarato, the Roots / Country Blues / Americana Guitar player, Vocalist, and Songwriter was born in the Apennine Mountain Range in the South of Italy, raised in New York City and currently resides in Louisville, KY. He splits his time these days between Louisville, Nashville, New Orleans, The Florida Keys, the Hudson Valley, NYC, and everywhere in between, touring in his RV motor home. Tal was recently featured as a Solo Acoustic Performer at 'MerleFest' in North Carolina as well as at the ‘South Florida Folk Festival' in Ft. Lauderdale, to name a few, and has deservedly taken his place amongst the very best players of acoustic blues and folk music worldwide, performing his own brand of old-time Roots music in the traditional fingerpicking, Piedmont/Country Blues tradition. (See 'Who is Who' List) TheCountryBlues.com. His latest project, “Dreamflower Sessions” was just released in the USA September, 2015. Tal’s unique songwriting skills and easily identifiable vocal style, quirky 'behind the beat' tempos, signature slide guitar technique and fresh fingerpicking approach to the genre has cemented his slot in the Country Blues world as a superlative and highly original traditional player and composer with a deep love for roots blues music. An accomplished electric and acoustic folk blues performer and Classically trained guitar player, Tal is also a long-time self taught student of the Rev. Gary Davis school of Gospel Blues guitar. His acoustic guitar is in the style of: The Rev. Gary Davis / Blind Blake / Doc Watson / Lightnin' Hopkins / Mississippi John Hurt / Big Bill Broonzy / John Spence / Robert Johnson. His electric guitar influences are: Elmore James / Buddy Guy / Otis Rush / Merle Travis / Albert King / B.B. King / Freddie King. When not playing a festival or a club date, Tal can sometimes be found by a fortunate few playing on the streets of places like NYC, Nashville, New Orleans, The Keys, Vancouver, Amsterdam, or Paris, following the weather in the true Piedmont / Country Blues street performer tradition.Videos/Music:youtube.com/talnaccaratomusiccdbaby.com/talnaccaratoBookings/Lessons/Contact:tn@talnaccarato.com
