Sune Sumpen Borg (1931-2002) was born in Stockholm. When he was 13 years old the family bought a piano. With help of some jazz records he learned to play the piano by himself. At 18 years old he made the first record. It was the first ragtime record made in Sweden. He became the king of ragtime and boogie woogie in Sweden in the late 40´s. In the same time he played in Grav-Olle Grafströms New Orleans Band at Nalen (1947). He also performed in Olle Sundhs Dixielandband at Nalen and around in Sweden.
