The dog days of July had already settled into Maine's less frequented parts. Armed with ten new songs and three good friends, the dopamine was flowing heavily as I pulled in the driveway of the old converted farmhouse where we'd spend the week. Within a few minutes, garlic and onions were browning, Kev was setting up the drums, and “Graceland” was spinning on the record player. There's nothing quite like making a record in one place at one time... the 14 hour days, home cooked meals, hoarse belly laughs, mid-afternoon swimming hole dips, and the pressure to get everything in your head onto the tape. This experience was nothing short of rapturous and I’m humbled, honored and thrilled to share these ten slivers of my mind with you.Special thanks to Jonathan, engineer extraordinaire.
