~WONDERING PLACES~There’s a story to every journey with wonderment, curiosity, fascination, admiration, and sheer awesomeness…Thank you Shepherdstown, WV! I sit in the Rumsey Park and look over the Potomac…James Rumsey, who invented the steamboat and steam power that led to the development of the turbine engine and steam navigation.He, like Dr. Carter G. Woodson, lived and developed something new here in West Virginia…Bassell[Son] &Julia [Daughter-in-law to be] have made my stay here an adventurous one. They make the adjustment from Los Angeles easier than could be directed. Making sure of things when least expected. Thanks for helping me ‘navigate’ …in this ‘wondrous’ place!The weather change and climate of the people is so very drastic.
