Having previously recorded 3 solo piano hymn albums, this is the first album of original compositions Kris has released and features material written over a span of 20 years. The unique concept behind this album was to record a collection of different melodies, and then to carefully place them alongside a series of improvised, filmscore style"interludes". The result is a refreshing blend of lyrical, melancholy, and reflective solo piano compositions designed to inspire and move you as you listen. Following this album there will be future releases of Melodies & Interludes Volumes 2 & 3.
