The New Old is a continuation of my musical journey that began in the early 60s...thru to the mid 80s...I played and recorded with groups like The Five Americans (Dallas TX), Sweathog (L.A.), Stoneground (S.F.) and finally Tower of Power (Oakland)! I was raised on Country Music and love it to this day, but as soon as I heard Little Richard in 1957 it was 'game over'...Richard changed my world with his high powered Rock 'n Roll and Southern Gospel vocal style. I've spent my life on that vibe...music moves me, fulfills me and puts everything...and I mean EVERYTHING...into perspective. The world we live in is just a portion of the understanding music in-your-heart brings to the human soul. Music is my gift...and I must make it and give it away. My Gift is creating my feelings and thoughts in music to share with you. I'm sorry that the only currency available here is money, but that's the rules...throw a few bucks in the hat, listen to what I've proffered...if it moves you...pass it on...I really don't care if anyone copies it.
