We can’t just call it an “EP”, “mini-album” or a “CD”. It’s never just an EP, but we like to call it the latest step of a long and dozen-sides musical and artistic process this band’s been working on throughout the months behind the realization of the work you’re holding in your hands. These 4 tracks are nothing but parts of a unique story: the struggling fight that everyone engages to find one’s place in the world. That everyone firstly engages every morning in front of the mirror, as a great man would say. It’s a battle made up of hardness and joy, that leads to the very border between your dreams and reality as it is. At the end, it’s just a battle against oursleves, that we can’t fight alone at all. It’s a matter of picking up our life and do what we love – or what we are called – to do with it, and who we want to do with it with. It’s a matter of how much joyful, painful or simply necessary it may be.These are songs that talk about dreams and love, rise and fall, loss and redemption, passivity and ambition. About hitting rock bottom and rising over ruins, from the deepest backstreet of soul to the highest point beyond every sky. From the passion for aimless travel just for aimless travel and the will to share it with the person you love of “Long Run” to the research of the place where to feel in peace with ourselves till the end of days in “Treehouse”; from the anxious sinking down to the ocean floor and rising up to the surface of the dreamlike “Follow The Light”, to the heavenly field of little lights in which the magic seems to overcome the pain in “Fireflies”. That’s it.Take your time and give a listen: we hope you’ll enjoy these four songs the same way we have enjoyed shaping them as they are.
