The selections on this CD are my personal favorites from among the percussion and recorder pieces on my four previous CDs. They are the strongest and most entertaining of my rhythmic improvisations brought together in one place. There was no repeated looping or sampling involved in any of them. Each instrument I used was acoustic and recorded live. Each track represents a moment of inspiration, layered upon other tracks. All of this combines to make the encompassing sound feel quite organic and human. These are the tribal sounds of the rhythms within me and the song of the wind that blows through me.
