Crotch / an angle formed by the parting of two legs.Rock n, / popular music usually played on electronically amplified instruments and characterized by a persistent heavily accented beat, much repetition of simple phrases.Crotch Rock = Shakin’ Abe Shakin’ Abe is back with tongue firmly planted in cheek with a new batch of home grown songs from the deepest depths south of the belt buckle. No thinking required, and no political statements or social commentaries made. This is just music (or noise) from another time to tap your toes and bang your head to.Skakin’ Abe watches the news, reads the papers and can see what is going on with the world today and doesn’t think anyone really wants to slip a CD in their stereo or download onto their I-Pod anyone’s views on all that stuff. If you do, make sure you check out U2’s newest platter and have a nice day!Want some cool tunes to listen to while you’re jogging or working out? Having trouble sleeping at night? Shakin’ Abe can probably help with both. With most songs clocking in at just about the 3 minute mark, I think there is enough of a hook there so you find yourself humming an unknown tune at a later date. With all the pops, hisses and noise you can imagine from a garage band recording, (at no extra charge) this one will not disappoint your aural senses.
