Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Princeton discovered his passion for rapping at a young age. He quickly realized his ability to influence those around him, by arranging words and verses in ways many could not. “During school, I would write lyrics on the back of my notebook. They were always about how tight I thought I was, girls, and how I could beat anybody in basketball.” Attracted by the lavish lifestyle hip-hop seemed to provide, Princeton fell in love with the music and become heavily influenced by many hip-hop artists. Little did he know, his love for hip-hop would grab his heart for God.Growing up, Princeton was exposed to the Gospel plenty of times, through both the church and his parents."Both of my parents did their job in teaching me about Jesus, but something just didn't click in me yet." Princeton’s life changed when he went to a hip-hop concert featuring Dillon Chase, Tedashii, and Trip Lee. For the first time, he saw young guys who looked like him and were unashamed of the Gospel. It rocked his worldview. As the rappers explained the messages behind their songs and ultimately, the message of the Gospel, Princeton examined himself and his heart."I could feel the Spirit tugging at my heart to give my entire life over to Him. I made the decision to fully trust in Jesus as LORD over my life, and not just as my Savior. He opened my eyes to see His worth."Achieving success and climbing the charts is not Princeton's main goal. He wants to impact and transform our culture and cities by standing up for the Truth and for what is right. As he sees people hurting and without hope, looking for love and satisfaction, he knows his purpose goes deeper than music. He is determined to innovate, inspire, encourage, and share the love of Christ through the medium of hip-hop. He is committed to bringing real change that will positively affect socioeconomics, discrimination, crime, and most importantly, families. In addition to performing at the 2015 Dove Awards and travelling with Lecrae, KB, and Tedashii, Princeton is working on his first EP.
