The Short Films is an Indie Rock band from Ontario, Canada. Our second release, Kingdom Animalia, is a concept album. We made it because we wanted to remember what it was like to be scabby-kneed, booger-faced kids who weren't afraid to walk around barefoot, climb trees, build forts, and stare in wonder at the world around us. As adults, we often leave behind the free-spirited nature of childhood, neglecting our once-vivid imaginations until they are little more than a ripple in our mind's eye. So take a listen, and if you like it, share it with your kids. We hope we've created something that will reflect the days of your youth, and help you remember what it feels like to be wild.
