Vibrating Path Shifters were formed in 2000 for the sole purpose of an experiment to see if they could self-record a CD in the basement of one of the band members. The brothers Booth (Andrew & Brian) had been writing music since the mid-1990's without a way to affordably put together a decent recording, until the emergence of the first digital multitrack workstations. After investing in a Boss BR-8 home studio, the band spent the better part of year recording these 16 tracks. Raven, named after the street where it all started, would become the first of three full home recorded albums, with over 50 original tracks eventually recorded. In 2015, Andrew Booth tragically passed away. He sang lead, wrote half of the songs, and significantly contributed on the rest. In honor of Andrew, the remaining band members have decided to finally take the step of releasing the music commercially so it can be heard. This CD and any that may follow, are dedicated to Andrew's memory.
