So what kind of music do you make/play?" Over the past few years, it's become increasingly harder for my friends and I to answer this question concisely. Our impulse is to list a paragraph worth of different genres (electro, jungle, trance, techno, breaks, ukg/two-step, juke, IDM, etc.) that help paint the picture of the range of style, energy, and bpm that we like to present both as DJ's & producers. Why limit ourselves to just one thing arbitrarily when there's so much amazing music out there??A few months back, my friend and Co-A&R, AK Sports told me about a term that wrapped up the entire scene into a digestible soundbite:"Nu Rave." It's true that all of these various genres fit within the canon of rave music (plz ignore the nu-rave/dance-rock scene of the late 2000s lol). Whatever ya wanna call it, it only felt right to highlight the insane musical diversity of our friends that make up this underground rave scene with a humongous 51 track compilation. This rounds out part 3 of our"5 years of Fantastic Voyage" series and gives a taste of where we're going, moving forward... voyaging into the depths of outer space :)Huuuge luv to all these amazing artists, AK Sports for the help A&Ring the release, and our wonderful team that's helped get this insane quantity of quality music out into the world!
