I got my first acoustic guitar when I was about five and started playing piano my first year of high school. I wrote several songs on the piano during that first year and never stopped writing. Some years seemed more prolific than others. Some songs were finished very quickly and some took years to complete. I have written various styles of music ranging from classical to hard rock never wanting to limit myself into one particular genre. The songs on this debut album are mostly pop and rock. They were chosen for no particular reason but maybe, I suspect, were recorded first because they were better songs for playing on stage. I still have several little"gems" that I recorded using my very old TDK tape recorder that I feel are just as good, if not better, than the songs on this album. Hopefully, one day, I will put out another album that's tailored more for those peaceful rainy days when you are home alone.
