In April of 2009, Jonas and Meryl Goldstein got their kids up on stage for their first musical performance as a family. Since then, the Goldstein Family Band has performed for dozens of live audiences from Georgia to Pennsylvania. With a mix of Israeli, Yiddish, and Rock ‘n’ Roll classics, they provide a fun and eclectic show featuring lyrics in five languages. The band is fronted by Lev Goldstein (age15) on accordion, keyboards, and vocals, and Samuel Goldstein (age 18) on saxophones, percussion, keyboards, and vocals. Avi Goldstein (age 21) anchors the band on drums and vocals, with help from mother Meryl (child of the 60’s) on bass guitar, and father Jonas (vint-age) on lead guitar.
