We hope you enjoy this collection of some of our favorite Kitchen Table Tunes. We’ve included carefully honed studio versions as well as live recordings, complete with stinker notes and stumbles (because that’s real life). Kelley and I are so blessed to have been part of an amazing musical family in Southern Illinois… We love and treasure all of you. We are forever grateful to Doug Anderson (a constant inspiration, and the spark and flame who made this project happen), Josh Morrison (the driver, several crucial gears, and the dearest of dears), Nate Graham (who lives and breathes the music), Mark Stoffel (our connection runs deep and true- we cherish your friendship and amazing musicianship), Robert Bowlin (and now we know you are a master of the accordion as well… thank you for such moving touches), Jenny Johnson (a most soulful angel- thanks for lending your beautiful voice), Lew Hendrix (master of progressive old time banjo, thanks for just the right twang), Geoff Maring (with a penchant for the most emotional songs.. thanks for putting your heart and soul into the Marble song- it’s perfect…), Alex Kirt (will work for queso dip- thank you for your efforts and expertise in recording and mixing the live session), and Mike Lescelius (thank you for your patience, diligence, and amazing musical sensibilities... and we sure had fun). As we live life, our experiences draw us to the things that become our passions… and from our passions grow our inspirations and causes. Kelley and I have long been passionate about pet rescue, and have dedicated our hearts, our time, our home, and our music to support rescue efforts. As we live life, sometimes our experiences lead us to causes that were not born of choice but instead from circumstances.
